Language for Results International Launch (9.00am UTC+1)
This webinar will launch the Foundation’s Language for Results International Programme of professional learning and EAL accreditation aimed at enhancing EAL provision in international schools.
This webinar will mark the launch of The Bell Foundation’s Language for Results International Programme of professional learning and EAL accreditation aimed at the international school sector. This short presentation will introduce participants to the online training courses and resources offered. It will also explore how these tools can help enhance EAL provision in an international education context and how they can dovetail with existing professional learning offerings to improve whole-school EAL provision.
Participants will learn about the Accreditation by Language for Results International (ALFRI), which is the Foundation’s new EAL accreditation scheme. ALFRI has been designed to help schools to evaluate, develop and showcase their EAL provision. There will be opportunities to hear from individuals and schools who have already participated in this programme and to ask questions.
This webinar will explore:
- The online professional learning courses that are offered in the programme.
- Who the courses are targeted towards and how they can fit into your school’s CPD offering.
- How ALFRI accreditation can help your school improve and showcase its EAL provision.
Who should register for the webinar
This event is aimed at primary school staff in international schools, including:
- Senior leaders for international schools/groups of schools.
- EAL co-ordinators or heads of EAL.
- EAL practitioners in an international school setting.

Tutors are experienced teacher educators with substantial experience of teaching and assessing learners who use EAL in relevant contexts. Tutors are trained e-moderators and offer friendly, practical specialist support to all participants throughout the webinar.
