Anna Kovalchuk

Anna is a communications professional with a diverse background, having worked in administrative and marketing roles in the private sector before transitioning to international development as a Communications Advisor at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in Kyiv, Ukraine.  Since the start of the full-fledged war in Ukraine in February 2022, Anna managed communications under the multi-donor Emergency Response campaigns and schools’ reconstruction in Ukraine initiative at GIZ. Anna also dedicated five years to teaching English to medical students in Ukraine and applied her linguistic skills as a simultaneous interpreter.
