Jan King

Jan was until recently the Chief Executive of the Angelus Foundation, a charity that has campaigned for legal change on so-called ‘legal highs’ and to spread awareness to young people and communities. She has worked almost all of her career in the third sector in the fields of drug dependence, criminal justice, homelessness and mental health. She has been a trustee on many charities including the UK Drug Policy Commission and Thamesreach, a homeless charity. She is currently a trustee on the Nepal Village Foundation, an NGO that creates opportunities for girls in rural Nepal to go to school.
