Nick Tesseyman

Nick worked for 20 years in development finance for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and was Managing Director of the Financial Institutions team, with a focus on making funding available to support SMEs, women entrepreneurs and energy efficiency projects. He left banking in 2018 to become the Chief Operating Office of Christ's Hospital, the leading charitable school in the UK whose mission is to transform the lives of children from disadvantaged backgrounds through education. He is now self employed as an independent director on the boards of three banks, including ProCredit Holding, which operates impact-driven banks in 10 countries of Eastern Europe. He is currently a trustee of the British and Foreign Schools Society, a volunteer assessor at Citizens Advice and an Independent Visitor for care-experienced children.
