Sarka Piggott

Sarka Piggott joined The Bell Foundation in 2020 as the Training Manager. She holds an MA in Translation Studies (English/Czech) and Italian Philology and is CELTA and DELTA qualified. Sarka has worked in language education since 2002, as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language, academic manager and teacher trainer. Sarka has delivered pre-service and in-service training for teachers working in a range of contexts and has given talks at English Language Teaching conferences in the UK and abroad. Her professional interests include teacher development, second language acquisition, helping learners develop receptive skills, and project-based learning. She is also an avid language learner.
