In 2018 the Foundation launched a call for partnerships with organisations committed to improving support for victims of crime who have English as an additional language. As a result the Foundation has developed partnerships which all have at least one of the following objectives:
- Develop and promote best practice in care and support to victims of trafficking/slavery
- Support staff in voluntary and statutory agencies to uphold the rights of and improve support to victims of crime with English as an additional language
- Promote linguistically and culturally informed approaches to support victims and enable equality of access
These projects will develop understanding of the challenges that victims of crime face and developing appropriate support and scale this support as widely as possible
The Foundation is always interested to hear from organisations who would like to improve support to victims of crime who have English as an additional language. For more information, please contact the Foundation at firstname.lastname@example.org.
