The purpose of the Foundation’s grant-funding is to fund projects which will improve outcomes and experiences for victims of crime who have English as an additional language, particularly enabling them to engage in recovery and justice services.
The Foundation is looking to fund projects which embed at least one of the following elements:
- Sustainability: How will the project create a lasting legacy or continue to create benefits after Bell Foundation funding ends?
- Scalability: Is the project using methods or approaches that could be scaled up, if so how could this happen?
- Innovation: Is the project using new, promising approaches to solve issues around language?
The Foundation is looking to build partnerships with larger organisations as well as community-based organisations, in order to share learning and best practice across organisations and to maximise impact.
Please note that the Foundation is not currently accepting proposals for this work. Organisations interested in future grant-funding schemes should contact Leticia.Thomas@bell-foundation.org.uk.
