What is Language for Results International?

Language for Results International has been designed primarily as a complete whole-school programme of professional learning. However, it can also be of significant benefit to individual practitioners working in international schools.

Individuals can benefit from the following components:

A series of evidence-informed, tutor-led courses which cater for different roles, experiences and learning needs within international schools.

A free webinar programme for international school staff which aims to raise awareness and inspire learning through exploring current research and pedagogy related to EAL provision in international education.

The award-winning EAL Assessment Framework for Schools and digital EAL Assessment Tracker, together with guidance on their use in international schools, are available free of charge. These tools can be used to gather data to support the teaching and learning of plurilingual learners and to enable teachers to generate targets to guide pupil progress.

Free resources are available to support the teaching and development of plurilingual learners who use EAL within international schools. A broad range of resources for different subjects, levels of proficiency in English as well as different student ages are available.
