Continents
This KS2 EAL Geography resource on 'continents' draws upon a learner's personal connection to continents around the world before developing vocabulary they will need to listen for details, provide information and identify global features on world maps.
These EAL resources provide opportunities for learners to develop listening and speaking skills in English as they focus on the topic of ‘continents’ in the curriculum. The Geography resource includes opportunities for learners to connect the topic to their own lives, build map skills, provide information to other learners through barrier games and develop listening skills through a Dictogloss activity.
