Key words for World War II
This resource is a set of picture cards and a set of word cards to introduce basic vocabulary relating to World War 2 to beginner EAL learners.
The resource is intended to introduce or revise basic vocabulary (e.g. soldiers, tanks, bombs, etc), and practise basic structures for naming (It is … / They are …) and asking and answering questions (Is it a …? Yes, it is/No it isn’t). Also included are two simple substitution tables to practise the target structures and vocabulary.
