Also included is a grid for sorting, and a set of cards modelling useful phrases for the discussion around the activity: ‘I don’t think the __________ is magnetic’, ‘I agree with you because …’.
The flashcards can also be used to introduce new vocabulary or reinforce it through playing a pairs game (Pelmanism), matching words to images. This resource could be used with young learners of 5 to 7 or older learners at an early stage of acquiring English.
