Predators and prey

This resource is suitable for learners who are New to English, at Early Acquisition or Developing Confidence stage to introduce the concept of predators and prey.

There are a range of discussion activities, where pairs or groups of learners share their ideas about which animals are predators, which are prey and which are both, look at various characteristics and discuss whether these adaptations are useful for predators, for prey or both. There are substitution tables to support learners to write a description of their chosen animal and its adaptations.
