The Mayans
This resource introduces learners to Mayan life through a series of images.
Powerpoint presentations introduce learners to Mayan farming and writing, and the word banks can be used as prompts for discussion and writing, or used to create collaborative activities and games.
There is also a concept map which enourages learners to make and explain connections.
This resource can be used as preparation for the other resources in the series, which compare Mayan life with that of the Anglo-Saxons.
