Units of measurement
A set of resources to support working with and converting a variety of units of measurement.
This pack of resources helps learners to be able to classify a variety of units of measurement (mass, length, area, volume and time) and ask and answer questions about them while converting between them. The resource includes captioned number and unit cards (to support vocabulary development and for playing a card game, suggested in the teaching notes), a barrier game and a graphic organiser activity and substitution tables to help learners structure questions and sentences on the topic in English and a units of measurements help sheet to assist with the conversions.
