World War II rationing
One of the hardships experienced in World War II was rationing.
Today, when most learners have access to ample food, this can be a difficult concept for learners to grasp. This resource seeks to illustrate, through visuals and through the game, how little of certain foodstuffs was available each week.
Learners will not only gain a deeper understanding of this concept, but will also enjoy the activities contained within this resource.
Suitable for beginner and intermediate EAL learners, this resource contains a board game, flashcards and a substitution table to scaffold speaking and writing using compound sentences.
