Using the Foundation’s Classroom Guidance and Strategies in the Classroom (Webinar)

This webinar will explore how to use the updated Classroom Guidance and Strategies to help multilingual learners in the mainstream classroom.

This is the first of two webinars exploring how The Bell Foundation’s updated Classroom Guidance and Strategies document can be used in an international school context. The strategies have been developed to work alongside the Foundation’s EAL Assessment Framework to support EAL learners in mainstream classroom contexts. We will provide an overview of the new guidance and give practical suggestions for how the strategies can be used to help classroom and subject teachers provide inclusive education for plurilingual students.

Areas of focus will include:

  • An overview of the guidance and strategies;
  • Details of how to use them;
  • Examples of strategies in action at different age groups and with different English proficiency levels;
  • Opportunities for questions.
