Imaginative writing Part 1
This set of resources, which is the first part of a two-part pack, provides an introduction to imaginative writing, with a focus on writing creative descriptions. This set provides striking and stimulating images, in preparation for the GCSE exam, in which candidates are required to respond to and write about images. The resources provide models of descriptive writing, for learners to analyse and introduce multilingual learners to the subject language they need as they create imagery, in the form of similes. The resources provide vocabulary that learners can use and recycle, to embed their understanding.
