The collaborative learning and exploratory talk activities in this set of materials provide learners with plenty of opportunities to learn and understand the poem.
Learners will also enhance their speaking and listening skills through the variety of engaging activities. The language / literacy objectives are to use the language functions of asking questions, comparing and contrasting, describing, explaining, using language devices, and to practise key vocabulary relating to the poem. This is a flexible resource that can be used with learners aged 12 to 16 who are beginners, intermediate or advanced EAL learners.
