This resource is designed to use with the whole class. It is based on an AQA exam discussion question. It uses visuals to get the question across and then looks at elements of persuasive writing. The supplementary materials contain a word mat for pre teaching or translation for learners using EAL who need it, and a short highlighting activity to be done in pairs or small groups. Some learners who use EAL will find this challenging but the visuals, word mat and judicious grouping should help them access it.
