Karen Warwick

Karen Warwick joined The Bell Foundation as a trainer in November 2020. Before joining the Foundation, Karen spent 22years as an EAL specialist teacher in a range of primary schools as part of a large EAL team in London and Wales, as well as working in this field independently. Building capacity and promoting inclusive EAL provision have been central to her work. She has worked closely with EAL families, including asylum seeker families and families from the Syrian Refugee Resettlement Programme (SRRP), at a school level and delivered in-service EAL training in various contexts to schools. She has always enjoyed this aspect of her work. Karen has an MA in Education and a CELTA qualification.
