Chicken Coop Maths
A language focused Maths task with activities to support pupils in explaining their reasoning while using targeted vocabulary.
This motivating Maths task has pupils identify whether finite sequences of numbers follow given rules. Learners then extend those sequences by applying the rules they’ve identified. It provides opportunity to work with tables and patterns. The resource contains numerous collaborative, language focused activities that support learners using EAL with building Maths vocabulary, solving problems and explaining their reasoning.
