The Bell Foundation’s first-ever conference, focused on amplifying the voices and needs of EAL and ESOL learners across the education system, will take place on Tuesday 23 June 2026 at the University of Birmingham. 

Join us for this event which will bring together our trusted partners and their networks for a dynamic day of thought leadership, practical insights, and peer learning. With space limited to 200 attendees, this is a valuable opportunity to connect with leading voices across schools, local authorities, and the third sector.

Conference schedule

The conference will run from 9am until 4pm. The day will include two keynote presentations, networking opportunities and three sets of breakout sessions. In each breakout session slot, delegates will have a choice of three workshops, one for each key theme of the conference.
