Comprehensible English for New Arrivals Using EAL (Online Regional Training)
This session aims to raise awareness of what is and what is not comprehensible, accessible English Language for learners who use EAL, particularly those who are New to English or in the Early Acquisition stages.
Who should register for the training
The session is relevant for all members of staff within the school setting, from administrators to teachers and senior leaderships teams

- To learn what makes English difficult for those New to English or in Early Acquisition stages.
- To discover easy techniques for giving instructions and checking understanding in any setting.
- To develop skills to make language more accessible and inclusive for EAL learners.
