EAL Coordinators: Leading EAL in Your School (Face-to-Face Regional Training)

This is a highly practical course for practitioners who are tasked with leading the EAL provision in their school, in a role such as ‘EAL coordinator’ or ‘EAL lead’.

Who should register for the training

  • EAL Coordinators/ EAL Leads (both new and more experienced)

Why you should register for the training

  • To explore roles and responsibilities in leading EAL.
  • To understand EAL provision in your school, including key procedures:
    • An EAL policy;
    • Admissions and inclusions;
    • Assessment, target-setting and tracking;
  • To explore the integration of EAL across the school, including:
    • Collaborating with colleagues;
    • Families and the wider community;
    • An culture of inclusion and equity;
    • Teaching and learning.
