Victims of Crime

The Foundation recently launched its grant-making scheme on supporting victims of crime. It is focused on initiatives to improve support to victims of crime who have English as an additional language. As a result, the Foundation has developed partnerships which all have at least one of the following objectives:

  • Develop and promote best practice in care and support to victims of trafficking/slavery
  • Support staff in voluntary and statutory agencies to uphold the rights of and improve support to victims of crime with English as an additional language
  • Promote linguistically and culturally informed approaches to support victims and enable equality of access

The Foundation has developed partnerships in order to pursue the above objectives.

The projects will develop understanding of the challenges that victims of crime face and developing appropriate support and scale this support as widely as possible.

Please note that the Foundation is not currently accepting proposals for this work. Organisations interested in future grant-funding schemes should contact info@bell-foundation.org.uk.
