Long division

This resource will support learners to be able to speak confidently about long division workings and collaborate orally with others in solving long division problems. A number of EAL strategies are used in this resources, such as a barrier game, translanguaging (first language), flashcards, visuals and speaking frames, supporting expanding learners’ vocabulary range around this topic as wel as language of sequencing, labelling and that of explanation.
